Dueling Hawks – Aerial Maneuvers & OODA Loops

During air combat, fighter pilots like hawks maneuver in order to gain a positional advantage over the opponent. Military strategist, John Boyd created what is called the OODA loop, for combat pilots. The OODA loop is a decision cycle which stands for observe, orient, decide, and act.

The OODA loop has long been adapted to business, law and politics.
